Here’s One Firing We Should All Cheer

From the Tom Woods Letter:

The Twitter story is not merely a curious sideshow. It is a microcosm of 2022 America.

And the story gets crazier and crazier.

As you probably know, Elon Musk released to Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss a pile of documents relating to Twitter’s suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

If the tables were turned, you can just imagine how the other side would have responded. Since the other side has no principles except whatever advances the revolution, the other side has tried to pretend the story is no big deal.

Well, here’s the latest.

In the pre-Musk days, Twitter hired James Baker, former FBI attorney, and in post-Musk days it was Baker himself who was vetting the documents that were to be released to Taibbi and Weiss possibly showing FBI collusion with Twitter!

Musk just fired Baker.

“In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today,” Musk said.

Musk spoke to Baker about his role in the laptop story and found his explanation “unconvincing.”

For all the hysterics who pretend to see fascism everywhere, actual fascism like this doesn’t seem to bother them at all.

Oh, and in case you were interested in any ties between Baker and Biden, Google was ready to let you know that this wasn’t a topic we should be too anxious to research right now:

In the very near future we’ll be going through the whole story on the Tom Woods Show.

In the meantime, two items of business for you.

(1) Over the years I’ve written 12 books, so I get a lot of questions from aspiring authors. A book can open extraordinary doors for you. (Look at Scott Horton: he knew everything there was to know about U.S. foreign policy, but once he wrote a book he was in massive demand for speaking engagements, etc.)

So I’m running a session next week on how to get a book published and actually seen by the public (most books, I’m sorry to report, sell a few hundred copies).

Here’s the registration link, and I hope to see you there:

And if you missed our session on protecting your privacy online, the replay is up for a very brief window:
